This Moringa herb if consumed on regular basis can be very handy in preventing age related bone distresses esp. osteoporosis. This is because Moringa leaves are a powerhouse of antioxidants, which reduce the damage to the cells esp.in the old age & has anti-inflammatory action too. (& off course thanks to the calcium, phosphorus & esp. Magnesium present in the quantity). Consider the points that will add value in old age like:
Moringa is extremely low in fats and contains no harmful cholesterol.
Dietary fibre is useful for chronic constipation.
Moringa leaves are an incredible source of essential vitamins such as vitamin B complex, C, K and beta carotene.
A Cup of Drumstick leaves could be equated, individually, for its nutritive values to 9 eggs, 9 cups of badam milk,8 cups of milk, 6 oranges, 8 apples, 16 bananas, 20 mangoes
Handful leaves can provide calcium equivalent to 900gms of badam, 8 oranges
Moringa leaves contain 3 times more iron than spinach.
But be aware … Moringa may possess anti-fertility qualities and is therefore not recommended for pregnant women.
So do checkup the information about Moringa with your physician for you or for the aging parents.
The comments of your doctor may help all of us if you can share those with us.
